Following the resounding success of previous editions, which drew nearly a thousand curious onlookers and enthusiasts to the tarmac, Le Havre – Octeville Airport is back in the spotlight. Join us on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for a fantastic weekend of festivities, discoveries, and thrills, entirely free (excluding flights and introductory experiences, which are available for purchase from the relevant providers) and open to all.
Organized jointly by the airport teams (managed by SEALAR), the Jean Maridor flying club, and Abeille Parachutisme, this friendly event aims to introduce the general public to the diverse range of aerial activities that take place at our airport throughout the year. Much more than just a stopover, Le Havre-Octeville Airport has established itself as a dynamic hub for leisure, training, and mobility, firmly rooted in the heart of the Le Havre metropolitan area and Normandy.
On the tarmac: a wealth of sensations and aeronautical encounters

During these two days, all the stakeholders and professionals based on the site will be mobilized to share their passion with visitors and create the unique atmosphere of the aviation world:
- Jean Maridor Aeroclub: Discover the aeroclub's fleet of light aircraft, talk with the instructors about the flight training course and treat yourself to an unforgettable first flight to admire the Seine estuary and the Alabaster coast from the sky.
- Abeille Parachutisme: Specialists in the thrill of tandem skydiving over the Normandy cliffs, the instructors will show you the behind-the-scenes aspects of their discipline and answer all your questions before the big jump.
- ULM76 – Para76: Explore another facet of free and powered flight through aircraft presentations and training offers provided on the platform.
- Civil Security Helicopter: Discover up close this iconic aircraft used for rescue and relief missions at sea and on land, and meet its crew (subject to their operational requirements).
- Airport firefighters (SSLIA): Younger visitors will be able to climb aboard the airport's impressive intervention truck and discover the essential job of runway rescuers.
- Souvenir photo booth: To immortalize your visit with family or friends, slip your face into our giant selfie post and pose in the costume of a captain or cabin crew member!
Due to scheduled modernization and technical maintenance work, the control tower will unfortunately not be able to accommodate public visits during this edition.
